   Nice to hear Michael’s voice…..a bit harshly edited perhaps, would have been nice to see it move along more naturally…..but nice to see this…..

   just saw michael on a documentary about the development of Heathrow on BBC4-saw an old clip from the 60’s-I got the name Michael Barratt remembered almost immediately from Nationwide-amazing!

   Hi Nightfire!Yes that voice is amazing – I don’t know if Bob Wellings is still alive – I think there’s a pile of Nationwide info on the BBC website.CheersNeil

   Michael Barratt still has that wonderfull booming clipped voice!I loved Nationwide. Is Bob Wellings still alive??
